I am looking at getting a 1000-5 and i do not have a toy-hauler so i will need to load it on a sled or Atv deck. Wondering if anyone has done so?? I have a f250 with 8ft box.
I've seen pictures of a 700 on top of a truck, but I think he used ramps and backed up to something. I'm not sure, but I don't think those decks are rated for the heft of the pioneers.
There is a company in MN that builds decks and he can build you a deck to hold your Pioneer no problem. I talked to him at one of the sports shows this winter.
Wife and i decided to hold off on the P-1000-5 for now. We would like to get a bit larger Camper (toy hauler) first for the 4 of us.
I bought a second Rubicon for her to ride. She did not want to drive was the reason i was looking at getting the pioneer but now that she has drove her own she admitted she was getting board with riding.
Also i ride trails in the national forest that are still 50" wide. Sure in a few more years the trails will be widened out to 65" and will look at revising a SXS.
I did test drive the P-1000 and thought it was sweet.
Looks like that pioneer fit on that truck fairly well!
