Heat Shield Mat

I know that some of you have placed a heat shield mat under your seat to shield the heat from the motor. What brand of mat seems to work the best?

I just use bubble pack insulation. You should be able to source it locally at any building center or order it online. It takes the longest making a temp plate so all the cutouts are in the right area.

I used a large size truck window reflector that I bought on Amazon and then cut it to size. Works great.

The Amazon one is $8.90 and free shipping. That beats $25 in my book even with having to cut it myself.
