side mirror or rear view?

I've had my pioneer for almost a month now and added a hard top and a windshield. Now I have realized I need to add some mirrors to this thing I like the seizmik mirrors for the side mirrors and just the Honda accessory for the rear view mirror. But to do both of those I'm looking at spending $240 on mirrors which after spending as much as I did on the hard top and windshield it kind of sucks . So my question is I plan on buying one of the mirror now and maybe the other later, but for riders who have both do you use the rearview mirror more or the side mirrors? Just would like to know which one I am buying first. Thanks Joe

I like the side mirrors better than the rear view, kind of a personal preference thing though. There are some reasonably price aftermarket mirrors around.

Don't feed the bears no matter what they tell you!

I tend to think like Dick here, "there are some reasonably priced aftermarket mirrors around". My thinking is, if I'm going to snap a side mirror off on a tree (which I have yet to do, but have come close), I'd rather it be a less expensive mirror. Also if you do have a mirror get pushed in, you still have to reach over and push it back out, normally I can get my koplin side mirrors pushed out close to where I like them all in one swoop. For the $40 I spent I think they are well worth it.

I found a great rear view mirror on amazon for 25 bucks and I love it. Good field of view and it doesn't move at all

I also have both side mirrors and rear view, I use the them all but the rear mirror more for backing up in the woods or with trailer on.
