I am in E-Town. Let me know if you are buying one and I will see if my dealer will give you that price too. Mine is coming in a month from now if I decide to go that route. On the other forum some problems are starting to crop up on the 1000's, so I may wait and see a little longer, as my 700 has been problem free.

I'm also starting to hear about some issues and may wait and see. I'm seeing more clutch problem posts. Is that what you're seeing? My thought was to get the regular 3 seater without the manual shift to be safe. Then my next thought is why not go ahead and get the 5 seater. Lots of conflict in my head right now.

I ended up getting the 3 yr ext warranty (4 total years) for 620. Not bad at all. If any of you are near central Ohio and in the market this dealer has too many units in the whse and is willing to deal (especially if u dont mind red). PM me and I'll tell u where.....and no I dont work there, just a happy customer.

Yes, the clutch concerns me the most as they are burning up. I am still happy with my 700 so there is no rush for me. I can't afford having my bike in the shop for a couple of weeks getting the clutch replaced as I use it everyday on the farm. Honda probably will beef the clutches up in the future like they did with the 700 shocks.

Are you happy with your 700 and just want a little more of a bike in the 1000 like me?

Yeah watch out for the clutch. Seeing more and more mine is one of them acting up. Put call into dealer today to see how to proceed.
