Talked to the service manager today. He said he has had two in with the issue. The first one was due for service they serviced the machine and it hasn't slipped since. One is in there now and there are going to service it and see it it stops. Mine just hit 94 miles so I'm service it and go from there

Honda probably will beef the clutches up in the future like they did with the 700 shocks.

Are you happy with your 700 and just want a little more of a bike in the 1000 like me?
Yes, very happy with the 700. I'll use it mainly around the farm and it has performed well, especially for what I will do. Will eventually want to haul a trailer loaded with wood. I believe the 700 will be fine, just want the added benefits of the bigger bed, more horsepower, lower gear and the more I see them, the back seats are growing on me.

Just picked up my 2016 Pioneer 100-5 Deluxe. $16,199 OTD. Now the fun starts. Fitting it out for our trip to Colorado. Trial armour full skid plates and A arms, Warn winch. Going to modify the Honda bed extender, will post pictures. Have to look at mounting the following, Garmin, Spare tire, spare fuel, first aid kit etc. Any one done this sort of stuff please send pictures.

$15,699 with no prep/delivery and $100 documentation fee @ Honda East Toledo, Ohio. My salesman was Tad Summers. Always a good experience with these guys. I have bought 3 vehicles from them and they ALWAYS blow everyone else away. They also participate in Costco Biyers Program so u get 15% off extras and installation.
