Need Some Feedback On The Pioneer 500

Guys I am very interested in getting a Pioneer 500. I grew up riding atvs and a Grizzly 660 was my last quad. I have ridden in the Pioneer 700 4 deluxe but didn't get to experience any big hill riding that I normally ride. I will be using this utv for hunting, work around the house, and trail riding in Eastern Ky and Wv. From what I have read most people are really enjoying the 500. It seems that it has a better gearbox than the 700. Is there any issue with the 500 powering out on big hills in 1st gear? How is the stability on side hills after the spacers or wider tires installed? Thanks

I don't have spacers. Just stock tires and rims. At my place I regularly over load mine and it does great going up steep rocky hills. In 1st gear and 4x4 I get about 6mph.

We got 2016 P-500 & it's a great little ride. Really low...low gear! Usually start out in 2nd or 3rd for that reason. Wished they had put a small dump bed on it but I just use our P-700/2 when I need to haul something. The P-500 has been really good to us so far.

I've laid mine over several times. Usually very gently and due to driving up very uneven terrain. I'm about to install some 2" spacers because it just feels tippy when I drive across slopes, and as my family starts driving it more, I just want the extra stance.

As for gearing, it's low. I can start up a hill in 2nd gear no problem (I have the 2015 manual version)
