I have a 15" wind shield that I fab'ed myself on the '17 P5. There is a 10" space over top of it. It's perfect for me, cutting most of the wind yet allowing me to see over when things get muddy or I'm hunting.

Dude my two cents, get a full windshield and the one you can tilt the bottom out for air. Mine is closed most the time. But I’m in the mountains most the time. That being said if you are down south in the heat, maybe totally different story.

I prefer the half windshield. Short enough that you are looking over it rather than through it.No glare, no dust and dirt to look through, If it works on motorcycles at 80 mph it should work on sxs at 35.

So I'm about to make a half windshield. I have the full Honda windshield and most of the time I can't see through it due to glare, mud, etc.

I'm thinking about coming up about 18" with a 1-2" bend for deflection. Sound about right?
