seatbelt bypass

My wife and I just got a new sxs 500 for projects around our property. We've had it for 4 days now and it's great. No more driving our 2 tractors around. However I would like to disable the seat belt safety. We have "plugged" them together and sit on them. Is there another way to do this? I know it's a "lawyer" safety issue, but we are on flat ground and probably will never see 10 mph.

Also, since we are both in our 70's our racing days are long gone.
Any help would be great.

It's only the driver side belt mechanism and there is a switch on it. I would have to look at the manual but it should be as easy as connecting the wires to complete the loop or unhooking it (depending how it's set up).
