You made a broad generalization in your post. Assumed it was directed at all of us.

Just got back from Salida.
My 700 would not climb moderate trails above 9k ft.
lower trials fine as long as not too steep or long.
In my view the 700 will serve you well.
Mine is going to be for sale

Honda will lose more and more costumers and all they really need to do is make a few small changes asap.

Good luck with your choice and keep us tuned in.

Looks like they did away with the 64" 900 Rzr and the 800 Rzr and Rzr S. Replaced them with a 50" 900 and a 60" 900 Rzr S. They also released a 570 Ace with 44 hp. They released a 1000 XP Sportsman with 88 hp.

They upped the hp on the 570 Ranger also to 44hp and released a "full size" Ranger 570.

Also looks like they released a vehicle to compete with the Can Am spyder called the Slingshot? A 3 wheel roadster with 2.4l engine making 173hp in a 1600 pound vehicle with a 5 speed manual tranny!......wow I'll bet thats pretty quick.

That's just what I noticed browsing the sight.........hmmmm might be another sportsman in my lineup.

Oh i was thinking they might of did away with the belt drive and stuff. I would of been happy. I just hope they focused more on quality. If so i would buy one of them 900 xc trail SxS. I guess after a year or so i will see if the quality is better with these 2015 models. Hoping... I really want a trail sport SxS just can't see paying so much for one and it maybe have a lot of issues.. So i will wait and see how they do. If i lived out west and had dunes to ride on and all i would probably have one by now tho. Them rzr look like a lot of fun in the sandy desert.

I know Polaris has had a bad rep for quality but I really think that its overblown. They are trouncing everyone in sales by what? 5 to 1, 10 to 1 I don't know but there are allot more polaris rigs out there than any other brand I see. In the mountains yesterday I'll bet we saw 15 sportsmans about 2 grizzlies and zero Honda's. I'm sure they put out rigs that are lemons as every manufacture does. BUT as one who does not beat his rigs or use them a submarines, ect......... I have had zero issues with either of my 2 newer polaris rigs. That 550xp that I have is bar none the nicest quad I've ever ridden including my Grizzly. Between the straddle width, 4x4 system and ride it really is a joy to ride. The EFI system has been great, I did a test this last winter before I sold my 2010 Can Am 800. Left both outside in -15 degree weather all night. Went out early and tried to start both, the can am wouldn't start, the polaris fired right up no problem.

If the alternative to a belt transmission with H/L is a 3 speed auto that 1st is too high and 3rd is too low, I'll take the belt. I've owned a 660 Grizzly, a 800 Can am, a 550 Polaris, and a 900xp Polaris all with belt trannies and never touched a belt. The Grizzlies carb went south on me but not the belt.

I also just got back from a trip to the mountains, had the Pioneer stall out on a creek crossing at 7000' elevation, and the engine braking on steep grades does not keep the machine under control. I also found the brakes to be lacking on steep grades.
