If you take it in for the recall its a free fix so why would you spend money on this to fix it yourself?

bash plate

Why would I want a skid plate with less coverage? I'll use the knowledge to check for debris regularly. I'm concerned about keeping rocks from bashing about in my underneaths. Grass and leaves? Not so much.

Honda ain't the only one who wants to CYA.
