Hard to start

My p700 has been hard to start since I got it new, anyone else having this problem? Is there something with my battery or spark plugs? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Can't say that mine is hard to start. Turn key, wait a couple of seconds, then start. Maybe your plug IS fouled somewhat?

I haven't had any trouble at all with mine starting. Starts well even below freezing temps. Make sure you don't have any water in your gas is my only suggestion.

I have it in neutral turn on the key and I let it turn over for about 5-10 seconds without starting. I turn the key of and repeat this for about 4 -5 times before it finally starts. It runs well and I always use etoh free gas.

What year is yours and how many miles? Have the tappets ever been adjusted?

Valve tappets, I would get some more miles on it and get it broke in good.
