I saw somewhere that someone commented that whatever is coming would be "smaller than a Pioneer". A 50"er?
I tried to ask the sales manager a little more about it and he didn't know anything else. he wasn't even sure it was a sport model to compete with the rzr. could be a smaller utility version to compete with the mid sized rangers....like I said, i'll believe it when I see one! LOL!

They said they wasn't going to build anything to compete with the xp1000 cause they couldn't do it for 20k.

The local dealer here and their sales rep told me the next model would be a mid size pioneer (like a 500 or so) and by the end of next year there would be a sport model to compete with the rzr.. And that it wouldn't be a 1000, but close to it.

I don't believe that one bit. if that were the case they would have never entered the side by side market all together. right now they're building a 700 class work/rec side by side that is in the lower price range.... that just doesn't add up.

That's what the Rep was saying weither or not it's true I don't know. I'd love for Honda to come out with a 900 plus cc with High and low and a nice suspension under it. But as mentioned before they can't keep up the demand on the pioneer how can they announce new models? They need to get into the sport sxs market. I don't see why they'd do a 500cc model the Rubicon doesn't have enough power.

to me Honda with their automotive experience seems like they ought to be in a position to build something that could dominate the sport side by side market.

Garage
Honda has the technology, they can make a mower go from 0-60 in 4 secs. With the auto, watercraft (skis and motors), jets, motorcycle (on/off road) and so on they have more than enough technology to make some pretty cool things that could outperform the others.
