Pioneer is cutting out

My pioneer was cutting out half way through my ride yesterday. The engine was not cutting out. The transmission was cutting in and out. Worse at high speed. But bad at low speed also Any ideas? Fluids are good. Electrical connection somewhere?

Mine did it once just because the shifter wasn't down in that noch good. It could be something with the shifter.

Have you contacted the dealer about this to see what they would say/suggest?

Might eb something mechanical, do you hear something slipping? If it's electrical just traced all the wires and see if all the connections are secure. Otherwise you might have to bring her in for diagnostic and repair.

I dropped it off at the dealer this morning. The transmission light was not gone through me for a loop. Maybe that's just the check engine light

Interesting... well I'm curious to know what is the culprit behind the shorting out. Keep us updated

Will do it was odd because I was still able to limp it home. I shut it off and shifted it a few times. No change.

Garage
Was it like it was hitting a rev limiter, like the brakes was being applied or just jumping out of gear? Did it do it in all gears or just high (guessing all 3 by the description)? Hilly ground or flat? I would need a lot of answers and about ride the machine but a bad connection (even water in one from washing), faulty linear valve or problem with the ECM would be a few guesses. Hopefully it tripped a few codes and the dealer can find the problem.

It happened in all three gears. On hilly and flat ground. It was definitely jumping out of gear vs rev limiter type of stop. (It would do it at half throttle or less)

Dealer said a code popped up , reset the computer and it's working again, but need to find out what caused the code in the first place
