700 Pioneer shifting problem

Got 700 that stalls down when shifting from first to second sometimes second to third. Only does this when engine is cold. Once warmed up it does fine remainder of day. When cold it runs good but when it tries to shift the motor bogs down like it in a bind. Year model 2014

Garage
How cold are we talking? The transmission operates off of oil pressure and in this cold weather the oil is pretty thick when cold.

We talking South Mississippi where it seldom gets below 35*. I mean before the engine warms up to operating temp.

i'm in alaska and have this problem, like a limp mode..even if i let it warm up sitting there, I have to drive it slow to warm up...maybe a transmission sensor that puts you in limp mode, kinda like the seat belt mode....

i do this every cold day, so I have measured on my way to work how far it takes...300 yds of slow driving to get past limp mode.....that is what it seems to me....If I nail it, from standing warm, it sputters, i check belts and all good, etc...

I run mobile 1 syn..5w30 but we are 10 - 70 degrees when I'm driving...
