Ps review

I've had my pioneer for a about a year now. Bought the first one the dealership had on the floor. So far I'm impressed with the performance. I have a couple of minor complaints(front brakes, doors rattling, heat from under the seat). I've done some mild modifications and I get compliments everywhere I go. I have to say for my first SXS and for what I use it for, over all I'm happy.
GaPioneer and scott like this.

Welcome to the forum, glad to hear the Pioneer is working for you.

A lot of the guys are replacing the brake pads with those from a BigRed. I'm not sure if the report is out on if they are lasting better or not though.

Some self adhesive foam/rubber strips can be a quick fix for getting the doors "tight" again reducing the rattling. I do that a lot with the BigReds since they vibrate more and the doors really rattle.

I always thought (especially down south in the hotter climates) that mounting a fan in front of the motor would help keep the cab area cooler. If you have air being forced across the motor to the rear it has to help keep the motor a little cooler and the cab area.

Hey man if you look close the rubber nub piece for that door is threded so you can tighten it up. Mine was rattling like crazy till I twisted that thing out some.

Brakes wow i wouldnt think they would need to be changed. Front and rear or just front pads and rotors.
