First ride impression

Being a 45 year veteran of motorcycles and a 20 year veteran of 4 wheelers, this is my first step into the sxs world. The Pioneer has lived up to my expectations well. I have always been a big fan of Honda anything and the new pioneer is not a disappointment. The pioneer has a "solid" feel you can't get with other brands I've drove. The thing steers like a dream, stops like a dream, and runs like a Swiss watch. Engineering superiority of the Pioneer reminds me of the John Deere farm equipment I own. Top speed, overwhelming power? Buy something else, but for everyday general use and longevity combined with reliability and resale value, the pioneer is at the very top of its class. I find the forum to be a very good resource to even better the whole experience of the Pioneer.

I guess if I had to single out something that I feel Honda missed on would be the tailgate. Although is is attractive and I do like the latches, it lacks backbone and does not fold flat in the down position. It is tempting to beef it up with some steel or something on the inside and to lengthen the cables. I know this has been discussed in previous forums, but I still haven't seen a good solution. Any ideas out there?

I have some ideas. Just not the time to do them yet.
