I'm wanting to get an enclosed trailer to haul the Pioneer and convert into a makeshift "camper" during trips to the hunting club. 6x12's are a popular size on craigslist, but tying one down would be "cramped" to say the least. Does anyone just tie-down from the rear of the vehicle where it's accessible? 7x12 would be easier, but I travel on some narrow two-lane roads, and they are less available on CL. Thanks.
I have hauled my 1000-3 le in my 7x14 enclosed trailer, The actual inside width is about 6 ft 9 inches. There is plenty of room on the sides to get it in, but its tight trying to walk beside it. The biggest problem is the height. My trailer is 6 ft 4 inches tall. It requires me to let air out of the tires to get it past the rear cross member. Tie it down tight so it can't bounce into the ceiling!!
