Did they allow you to order directly? When I called last week they said I had to order through a WPS dealer. 2 years ago, I ordered directly through them for my brute force.

I just called them and ordered. No third party required.

Great! Wonder why they told me that...but I was asking about their plows as well. Maybe it's just their plows? Either way, post up pics of the mount and the install. What brand winch?

Will do once I get it (hopefully late this week) - I've got a Warn Vantage 3000lb w/synthetic rope.

Friscoguy,
I've been bugging KFI for a couple of months about the winch and snow plow mount for the P500. They sent me photos from their shop of an unpainted winch mount on 10-23. They said it would be a couple of weeks and said the same thing about not selling direct and I would have to go through a dealer (third party).
I sent them an e-mail over the week end asking for an update on availability but have not yet received a response.
I couldn't figure out from the photos how this thing will mount up, so I'm anxious to hear how all goes with your experience with instructions and effort to mount it. Please post photos if you can. Do you mind divulging the cost, mount and shipping?
Are you also planning for a snow plow usage? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm thinking the KFI plow mount and 66" straight blade.
BTW, I'm thinking of using a Superwinch Terra 35 (3500#) with steel cable on mine.

I'll definitely take photos of the install and finished product. I'm in Texas so don't have any snow plowing plans. It was $55 with free shipping.

Crookedcreek, I ran Terra 25 on my Brute Force. Nice winch for sure. My plan is to run a 60" KFI plow seeing that the Pioneer is so narrow. 66" would be a great match too. 60 just fits in some narrow places I have.

doolin64,
Thanks for the "thumbs up" on Superwinch products, it confirms the many positive reviews I've read on their winches.
My original thoughts on the plow width was also for the 60" wide for the same reason you articulated. KFI shows the 60" as an ATV width and the 66" as a UTV width. That got me thinking that the 60" may not be wide enough to cover the path width of the P500 when the plow is angled to it's maximum but, for sure, I don't know. Since I put new tires and wheels on my P500 the overall width has increased to 51 7/8" front and 52 5/8" rear. Maybe someone knows (or KFI could provide?) the path width with maximum angle. The 60" would be better for me too, but I'd like a "clean path" so as to tire pack down the snow as little as possible.
BTW, the 66" KFI does have two more stiffening ribs on the back than the 60", FWIW.
Thanks again for the input.

See pictures of installed. Plows do go through your local Dealer. The Plow mount is not available yet but in production.
