Don't do it because the Jenson won't fit on that side because of the metal bracket behind the dash. The only place the Jenson will fit there is far right.

Thanks Dick the Jensen goes in that far. Didn't realize that.

@ccbrett I was assuming it was the Jensen MS30 you were planning on using because of the round hole. It is hard to tell by looking under the hood but there is a bracket for the shifter that is in the way. They will fit there but only on the far right.

It would look good though, sometimes there is more than one way to skin a cat if you scatch your head enough. You can't flip it over because the GPS would be upside down but I wonder if it could be spaced out a bit, I can't remember how much it would take but I will be home tonight and would be able to get a measurement for you. I don't know what you could space it out with though. If you have a roof it would be a great face for an overhead console although you need to be tall to appreciate anything overhead in these machines.

Thanks Dick yeah my next choice was an overhead console. The wired controller for the Jensen head unit that comes in the can am limited I am thinking of going that route has half the mounting space I believe. I also thought about separating the mounting points and flush mounting then in the dash and attempting plastic welding. Thanks for the input.

I think that it will look good if you can do it right. I'm excited to see you follow through with it. Have you decided if you are going to do it or not yet?

Zeus still weighing my options getting measurements don't want to cut and it not work because then I'll buy a dash can't ride with a hole in it.
