If anyone else is experiencing a chirping noise coming from the motor area here is how I fixed mine.
Mine had been doing it since new and happened when the motor was a little above an idle it would go away when I stepped on it. I looked high and low for what was causing it and decided it had to be the rubber motor mounts. I sprayed them with Duralube spray as best I could and the noise went away 75%. I took it for a drive and it went away 100%.
There are 3 rubber mounts 2 on the sides and one at the back that isolate the engine sub-frame from the main chassis. You can access the ones on the sides by removing the front seat and lifting the rubber dust shields. The one at the back you need to get from the back.
This is a picture of one of the side mounts looking down from the top. The rubber is underneath and a little hard to get a good spray on, so a smaller can of your favorite lube would work best. If mine comes back I might try graphite spray.
I don't know about anyone else but a squeak will drive me crazy until I find it. I could be the only one with this problem, but thought I would post this so others could save time finding it if they do.
It is so much nicer to drive without that squeak!
I keep liking this Pioneer more and more the longer I own it.
