Grrrrrr. Why do they lead folks on?? I won't be able to install mine anymore this winter. Other fish to fry and travel plans. My extended family will just have to ride cold.

This is totally unacceptable Honda. I've bought multiple Cars, Jet Skis, Generators, lawn mowers and more with your Brand on it. …..and, You can't get a heater into production on a timely basis??:confused:

Gotta say….this accessory game in the UTV end of their business is not like other product offerings…..and it does not make me too happy. A big guessing game on how to do stuff…..after a long wait for the over-priced parts.

Foggy, I understand your frustrations. Because well, I'm a Warn guy. Them being locked into this deal with Honda to take the same stuff I will buy from them and making it 5 times more expensive is a pain. I am still plowing with my king quad because I refuse to pay for that Honda plow tube mount. Luckily KFI made a winch mount, but I wasn't able to find the same on the plow side. It's freaking cold out there!

The heater is ridiculous just because of how they are handling it. They should of made a note in the accessory manual saying late 14' production. It showing up early would of made them saints, but instead, cold people getting their hopes up every 30 days and then still being cold, makes for grumpy customers.

^ Yep, I can deal with facts….even if I don't like the news. In this case I may have developed my own heater as others have done. THEN they sell you a high-priced wiring harness that is made for THEIR proprietary heater which is not in production? …..Riiiight!

I think most folks are OK with a shortage or delay……but non of us need a run-around.

I was talking to my dealer here and he mentioned the official launch of the Pioneer wasn't until February sometime. I didn't get what he was talking about we have had them for months. I have never seen anything advertised about an official launch have you?

Interesting. I wonder what the difference between introduction of the vehicle and launch of a vehicle is. Just advertising? Or should we expect to see the dam gates open and there be more Pioneers than people at that point?

I think up until now most of ya'll are just the early bird guinea pigs?

I would guess when they officially launch that will mean commercials and then there will be a real demand for them?

Is that launch date around the same time of the superbowl?

If your selling the product…..the product is launched. And, they have been advertising the product in magazine and tv for some months now. They missed an entire cold season by not providing a heater IMO. And, I cannot understand why. Maybe if they had a GOOD reason they were providing I could understand…..but it's just a heater.

I can understand if they wanted to develop a heater properly and not just throw it in their knowing it could be a problem. Still would have been better if they included it from the start .

The problem is Honda isn't the one making most of the accessories. They are sublet to other companies building them to Honda's specs, "signature series". The graphic kits got the axe because of an adhesive problem. The horn kit (yes, a simple horn) has a ETA in March. I think the horn kit is waiting on the heater kit for placement but still... come on.

That one for $400 looks an awful lot like the $130 smaller summit heater.
