Being the impatient person I am, I got tired of calling around begging for companies to make a set of rock sliders for my Pioneer. As such I went to a local metal fab shop and got a quote for them to fabricate a set of custom rock sliders. The total cost for one set, 3/16 steel is $850. This includes CAD time that is obviously a one time fixed cost. I asked for a price on 10 sets to see what kind of discount I could get and he said that he would get me a number Monday next week. PM me if you're interested. The rock sliders would close the gap between the center skid and wrap around the entire nerf bar. Very similar to the UTV Tech rock sliders for the arctic cat.

I have been looking at the aluminum skid plates by univparts on ebay for $289.

Did you ever check if they made them? I see they have them for the RZR

sounds like a sweet deal but i have no use for them.

289 doesn't include the sides, which is what I really want. I called universal and they have no interest in making the side panels. No big deal I'm going to get my local shop to do it either way.

im not sure if it helps but I just rubbed the crap out of my stock bars on the side and it didn't harm anything
