DB I have one mounted on the floor that I bought at the golf cart place. I'll try and remember to get pics when I get home. And I'll check and see if a AR fits too.

This is the one I have. In the off season I can remove it and the base plate stays mounted to the floor.

I installed the double i got it off of Ebay from them but cheaper than from their site

not really sure if this helps but one of my friends took a soft case that fit his gun with scope. stuffed some pillows in it, then rhino lined it. not sure if he used something else but he put 2 or 3 coats on it with it zipped up thing was pretty hard but still bend a lil. he screwd the tip to the floor board and the top he strapped to the back of the seat/rollbar. did pretty good . don't know if its still in there or not but he had it for 2 yrs till he sold it

I mounted a gun boot. used the mount from my atv. made a bracket with some angle iron and bolted it to the back of the head rest. then mounted the boot bracket to it. it works pretty well but it does block visibility.
