ok guys I know the pioneer hasn't been out very long but whats the biggest tires youv seen on one and has anyone had any problems with the axles or broke an axle yet?

lol yeah I hope I don't have to change any but I would like to know what im up against, as far as axles strength. I got mine loaded right now with back seats up and 100qt ice chest sitting on the tailgate and bed strapped down full of refreshment for 5 hours from now well be hitting the rd and trails

I broke mine in reverse with the diff locked in a tight spot. the wheel caught and yanked the steering wheel right out of my hand and pop there it went. im currently looking at my options before going back to stock but gorilla is wanting almost 400 for theirs. any other options out there.

tell you the truth i think it was just coincident your axle broke. im running 27-10/12 r12 executioners and iv been in 4 lock a lot but i don't turn more than just a lil bit. i hammered and beat mine down but iv never oversteered it. good luck on finding axle but id go back with Honda if it were me

Welcome to the forum. That situation will break a lot of CV joints regardless of who makes them. It's just too much strain on it and something has to give. I've broke a few on the 4 wheelers over the years, even twisted a few shafts in half. Every time it was my fault pushing it a little too far.

I broke something in my right front axle boot on the wheel hub side about a month after I got mine.. 28x9.5x14 outlaws.. It was my fault though and it was before the lift kit.. I talked with super atv and they will have rhinos out for the pioneer within 4-5 months for $199 a piece.. My stock honda replacement axle was $207.. And a rhino is a lot stronger and more durable.

Running 28 skinny wide mud lite right now with now problems. i have 30 inch mudder inlaws on the way. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong. Will let everyone know how they do this weekend

The dealer here ordered mine, no problem at all.. Not sure why they can't.. You can call my local dealer and ask them and I'd bet they'd ship you one.. If you don't want to do that, try amazon or eBay.

Try rockymountainatvmc.com they have parts diagrams for the Pioneer and you can order any part. Look up oem parts then enter your model.

Im running 29.5 terms on 3 inch lift and put it thru **** when we ride and never broke any axels yet

I'm running 31 outlaws, and have broke a front left and a front right. Both times its the outer ball bearing cage of the outer cv joint.

New to the pioneer family just bought a 2014 700-4 with 200 miles. So I was driving the other day wile turning in 4 wheel drive the left front axel is making grinding sound. Should I replace it or is this normal noise the right side sounds fine.
