It even matches your color scheme. Plan to strap it down or holding it in place in anyway?

That works for me. Unless it makes a rattle.....I hate rattles. I travel with a roll of self adhesive foam weatherstripping for just that reason!

Looks like it was made to fit in there. If this is a standard size I'm sure you could find a plastic bin in a lot of stores that would fit properly into the Pioneer. I just hate shopping at Walmart. Maybe i'll try Canadian Tire.

Storage box for Pioneer

Just got one of these at Walmart. They make a bigger version, which you don't want. Located in plastic storage department of Home Goods. Under $7.00, or you can order on Walmart site and pick up at store.

Speaking of rattling noises, what's the deal with the stock tool kit? it looks like it was just thrown in there. It rattles around in the loose holder. Some self adhesive foam tape is surely needed there.
I just got my pioneer on Friday and with the extreme cold temps we've been having, I haven't gotten to spend much time with it. Where is the stock tool kit?

Under the passenger seat. You need to pull back the inboard engine access flap

Thanks. This gives me something new to check tomorrow.

One thought though on storing stuff under the hood. Pretty much the first thing I did do was pull the hood cover to see if there was any storage. And what I did see is that at least two wires are located in the area where people are talking about putting this plastic container. Aren't you concerned that after a while, the vibrations and movement of the container will rub through those wires?
