Ok guys, I'm getting itchy waiting for the aftermarket to start offering products for our Pioneers! I know there are a few things available but not much.
Anyone know how long it takes for the aftermarket to catch up with new models?

honda doesn't want you to use aftermarket parts at all !!!!! read youre owners manual and it tells you death may be caused when using aftermarket because honda didn't test them ....lol (it's true ....i read it in a 2014 foreman 500 owners manual yesterday ...lol )

Accessories is a huge cash cow. Honda wants $260 for a winch plate that's the same as an aftermarket that's $40-60.

Their hoping you'll need or want it before any others hit the market. You can't blame them, they just spent a bunch on R&D and manufacturing a new unit.

Aftermarket companies have to wait to get a new vehicle before they can ever start fabricating the parts. If there is something you are looking for, it never hurts to drop a line to a manufacturer to say "hey, if you made a lift for this new Pioneer, I'd know you'd sell at least one."

You have that right about Honda wanting to sell you their add-ons. Can you blame them though? I am currently taking part in an official R&D discussion board with them and many of the questions have revolved around add-ons.

Oh, well, I will try to remain patient.

Well that explains why the dealer was really pushing to sell me the winch.:)

I have my pioneer at UTV tech right now so they can get a few things designed and tested for it. They should have some stuff before too long.
I thank you for your sacrifice :D

Stopped by UTV tech and they have several things in the works. A arm guards, full skid plate package, box for the front under the hood,Rear diff protector, caliper guards and probably a few other things. CAD designer is pretty busy but things are progressing.

Here are some pictures of what UTV Tech created for my 570 RZR. Full skid plates, radiator guard, winch plate cover, A arm guards, rock sliders, air filter screens. Should be similar for the Pioneer. One other thing I will suggest is cup holder plates for the M4 rear doors. Honda has the cup holder molded into the rear door but they do not install the outer half like they do in the front door. Honda wants $26 each for them. Also a gas tank protector.
