Hi guys. I'm new to the forum, just picked up my pioneer right after xmas. So far I love it. This thing is bad ass! I put nearly 50 miles on it over the weekend.
However, today when I got home I thought I would give it a good look'n over. I noticed that the coolant reservoir was pretty much empty. Crap, where is the coolant going? So i searched until I found a leak at the water pump. Just a hose clamp that needed to be tightened. So I went through and tightened all the hose clamps in the cooling system.
There are 14 hose clamps all together, and some were a real bitch to get to. At least half of them needed a good turning. FYI, they all take a 6mm socket except the hose that goes from the back of the head to the water pump in front of the engine, those two hose clamps take a 1/4" socket, WTF!
Just thought i would pass this along, would be a good thing to check.
