My back doors have the molded innards for cup holders but no metal ring to actually hold. Cup like my front doors have.. Anyone else have this?

Yes. The cup holders for the rear are an accessory item.

They charge you for every little thing extra, eh? Its more fun to watch your back seat passengers struggle to not spill all over themselves while you gun it on a trail, isn't it? Depending how expensive they are, you could probably find cheaper cup holders that work or even make some.

Well if the metal part isn't there it can't rust right? BTW what was Honda's response to your issues? I don't recall you posting an update.

Mine have no metal parts for the cup holders in the back either.

In response to my rust issue,honda fabricated end caps for the frame openings, sent my dealer a special wire brush attachment to clean the inside of the frame and some kinda paint. There also gonna drill relief holes all the way in so they can drain. I haven't brought it in to get done yet (that's why I haven't posted picks of it) my kids are on Christmas break and we have been using it

I priced the metal parts for the rear cup holders and as I recall they were around $24 each. I think they are aluminum so no rust.
