Has anyone done a dual battery on these yet, I haven't received my pioneer yet but I have the battery and the isolater just wondering if anyone has found a good location for the second battery yet

If your not planning on a heater, under the hood is a decent option. There still might be room for both if you are, depending on the sizes you go with.

Is there any extra room close to the battery cause the isolater kit I have has some cables with it, I was hoping not to have to make any

There is enough room close to the battery area depending on the size of battery your adding. You can build a box between the electrical and motor (I would add a heat shield also just because), If a 2 seat model there is a lot of room in front of the rear wheel area to add a box for it. Once you get the machine and get to look around I don't think you will have any problems finding a suitable placement for it. What you have for cable length and size of the battery might be the deciding factors.

I put my second battery under the drivers seat. Mounted a plate of diamond plate aluminum for the floor. Worked real nice.

Thanks for the info, and I wasn't sure on battery size so I just got the same one that the machine comes with hopefully it will run a stereo and a 200 what amp

How did you run the wires back to the dash?

What battery would you guys use. If I do this I would look into something thats a bit of an overkill or more, just to be on the safe side.

I ran the wires across the front of the motor and zip tied them to the frame (which would be behind your knees when sitting-under the seat of course). I used a battery mount to tie it down to the aluminum metal plate. Ill see if I can get a picture.
