I had a good 50 mile ride on the pioneer today and had the following observations. It has plenty of power and will run up to the limiter with no problem. It climbed very steep hills that I did not think it would without a low range tranny. Many magazines that tested the prototypes thought the suspension was soft. Honda must have listened because I found it to be a little stiff but that is a good thing since the springs will no doubt relax over time. On the loop running mostly around 35 mph it turned in 21 mpg on a new engine. Things I would like to improve on are, 1. Make throttle pedal a little bigger and longer. 2. Tilt steering would have been nice but the steering was very easy except in 4X4 with dif lock on.3 Rear view mirror. 4. I need to adjust the rear bed as it squeeked over all the bumps. Over all I think it felt better than a stock 50 inch rzr but it is not as fast on top speed or as quick.

That sounds great! I mean you have been driving a rzr and you sound really impressed with its performance. I know the speed limiter will aggervate me as well, but im sure programmers will come out that will raise that. You can get one and be our guinea pig on that too!! Haha...thanks for the review!!

I found a Kolpin rear view mirror that will work. The pioneer roll cage tubes are slightly smaller than a RZR so most of the aftermarket bolt on products are not going to work on the Honda. The kolpin I found has an adjustable clamp like 2 fingers coming together that grabs the roll bar for a mount. Non of the dealers around here are stocking any Honda parts for the pioneer yet. Power commander makes a lot of electronic stuff that can get rid of speed limiter for Polaris. Not sure that they have ever done anything on Honda however.

I just cut a strip out of a rubber flap I had to fill the gap with the smaller tubing. It worked great and the mirror didn't rotate at all with the rubber.
