Fracking Sweet!

Well I just got her in and went for a 16 mile ride.

All I can say is F-Yeah!

For all the nit-pickers and throttle jockeys I see bitching about this and that your retarded. And if you can't be happy with a machine like this then you have issues.

All I can say is this machine is sweet and will fit all my needs perfect. This will be a 80-90% work machine. Even if it was the other way around 10% work it is still sweet.

The steering is as smooth as can be. You would never need power steering.

The transmission shifts sweet.

The power is more than enough.

So my ride today was in the sun but only 30 degrees. It was a half and half snow and dry with a little mud.

I had it up to 45 and that is plenty and if I need to go faster then I will get a trophy truck.

I have been Jeeping and ATVing for years. I found a few short small hills that made me firmly uncomfortable to go up. But the pioneer didn't break a sweat even though I just about did. And for the few videos I have seen where people stop at the bottom of something steep and can't make it up well.....they are stupid and don't know how to ride. They should hand in their man card.

Now to be fair I have only owned an atv that was 2wd (Honda Recon) and it was about kids size. And the only real SxS I have been in was a mid 80's mule 1000. And that thing sucked balls. Every time it broke it was $300-500. And that was once a year. But the pioneer is like driving a Mercedes. I can see many, many years of good use from it.:D

Anyway thats my opinion and well I am opinionated.

Glad you are happy with your Pioneer, and to think the red ones are even better!

Where are these videos? I'd like to see them.
Passion is a powerful thing

I've watched all the Pioneer vids i can find, and i haven't seen one like that. If you got links, id appreciate it...
Search "camo pioneer" or Yoshi on YouTube as he posted one that made me reconsider the Pioneer very early on, but all my fears are in the past.
Forget the searching Yoshi part, the camo pioneer is the answer (just searched), first vid I watched is the 1:10 .length one

this is the one you watched i presume thunderstix. this guy is barely hitting the stall on the torque converter before he lets off the gas. lmao. he needs to let someone else drive

another joke lol i think this is a dad teaching his kid how to drive
Way he was nursing that thing, he must of just rolled it off the trailer and was worried about getting the tire treads dirty.

Something aint right....

Here's some i did...
Honda Pioneer on a hill - YouTube

Hard rock Pioneer - YouTube

In that second one, the angle is terrible. It is steep with a 1 foot or so verticle step at the bottom, and that left side is about all you could climb...front wheels even come up for a second.
yeah well ill have to get some action pics and video tomorrow and show them how its done lol

I might of been the 'stupid'. Maybe it was the video I made just testing for tire spin that I posted in your Pioneer log thread. :D

Mainly its the vid skorp put up. I mean who drives like that? I could do better than him in a wheelchair with one arm. He needs to stay in the minivan.

I am not knocking your vids but to me these are really invalid tests because there is no need to stop in the middle of a steep hill. If you are doing it all the time you are doing it wrong. In a hill climb you either make it up or it is so steep you don't. And if you don't make it you go to the bottom to try again. Next time I go out I will take the cameras.

Yep Skorp, those were the ones! I had a knot in my gut after watching Yoshi and his inept driving skills (which I hoped was the issue). After speeding time on here and talking to people that actually know how to drive and have real world experience with the Pioneer, I did a complete 180 and now can't wait to get mine.

I watched your vids about 10 days ago or so and they are some of the ones that helped me fall in love with the machine again.

We'll if you can find the guy who made the vids Skorp put up, he needs a lesson.
