A question for those of you that have a hard top.....
How hard is it to remove? Can this be done relatively quickly and easily?


The reason......
Long road trip to Canada every year and I would like to be able to remove it for trailering and fuel mileage, and yet put it back on once up there.

4 clamps hold the roof in place. Pull down on it by hand and it push open and that's it. Takes about 2 minutes

2 minutes to take it all down isn't too bad. Thanks for posting that picture.

The 1st trip to Canada was on a buddy's 7x14 atv trailer. Nice but heavy and wide. I have an old popup camper frame that I plan to re-purpose for next year. Around home it goes on a car hauler type trailer.

Does anyone know how much height the roof adds? Only got about 3/4 in clearance on the garage door.

Nice. Did you guys do a straight trip to canada or did you stop off at places on the way? Did you do anything to prevent people from stealing the ATV?

OLT, It's just a straight trip to a private cabin on a lake. You have to ride in from a logging road. It's truly isolated and roughing it.

The hardtop adds about 7 3/4 " over the crossbar behind the seats. That isn't the highest part of the roll cage, but by my guesstimate I'd say 3-4 inches taller than the highest point of the roll cage which is on the sides.

If you only have 3/4 inch, there is no way it's going to fit.

Nice machine by the way, i was going to get the 2 seater but none were available. They look shorter.

At least you asked ahead of time unlike myself. I had a new shed built and went right out and got myself a hard top. My 9 year old said dad, that isn't going to fit in the shed now. I never thought of it adding height. It cleared by about 3/4"...hahahaha

Here is a photo. You can see how the middle of the poly raises drastically.

I have to unhook my garage door from the opener and wedge the door up to get mine in the garage
