Would there be anything wrong with using something like this....for occasional use (plowing)? Living in NC, I don't (right now) foresee me really needing a $500 heater in my UTV. I've gotten by the last 10 years not even having an enclosed cab (ATV).

I've been in golf carts with these running.....and they're great.

We used some nearly like that this past weekend. We had 2 one each for the wives.
Wait a sec. GaPioneer. How the heck do you put up with 2 wives at a time? I can't deal with one, let alone juggle multiples. :)

Wait a minute if my friend and I had both our wives with us we'd have to find a a/c somewhere all that hot air flying around. Lol

well next year I plan on getting the comple soft top and doors and was thinking of mounting another battery on a electric seleo=noid to separate where I can use 1 battery for radio and heaters or stuff like that and not connected to the main starting battery . so If I run down the battery it wont affect me starting it. if im completely inclosed guessing a lil heater will work fine or having the possibility of mounting 2 somewhere I can remove easily maybe by getting some of the roof latches and mount them to the heaters.

Down south I would think it would keep the cab decent. Of course I think it's snowing down there now but most of the time.. lol That heater retails for $80 so it wouldn't break the bank to try one. If I had something to use one in I would try it and report back but I don't have anything needing a heater.

Something like this would be another option. Moose Utility makes this one.

I brought this one up a few months ago. The consensus was that the amp draw for this is to much and that with this you might be better to strike matches for warmth.
