I was happy to find an entire forum devoted to the Honda Pioneer! Not an owner, but have been impressed with the Pioneer and am currently researching for a possible future purchase.

I am a new owner of a P4 purchased last saturday.

I do not know where you are located in Ontario, but I purchased mine at POWERSPORT OTTAWA.

Although they are not really opened to negociations, due to the shortage of machines, they reduced the list price by $300.00 and did not charge me for Preparation and Delivery.

Very nice people to deal with.

That is identical to what my local dealer is doing for me. Freight was $925 and he could not wave that, and I know it was that much for a fact. So mine will be $12,724 before tax, roof, and hard coat windshield.

Yes, Canadian prices always higher.
I paid $13,500.00 for my P4 plus taxes.

But I looked into buying mine in upstate New-York.
A P4 would have cost me $11,700 + $250.00 in prep.
Sounds like a good deal, but then you add the importation and inspection fees plus the exchange and it gets to $ 13,500.00 same as I paid in Canadian dollars.

Was a good deal 8 months ago when the Canadian dollar was worth 11% more than the US dollar, but it is the other way around now....
