I picked up my heater at the dealer today. Also got the instructions printed off. Will look over the instructions and heater tonight. Likely can't install it till next week.

Edit: Just looked over the instructions and the heater kit parts. Installation appears easy enough and fairly straight forward. I may have to remove and re-install my honda wiring accessory fuse box from it's present location. Hopefully that will not be a huge issue. I'm a couple hundred miles from my machine right now…..so I'm just visualizing the installation……but it does not seem overwhelming to install.

I get a "kick" out of the HOnda instructions…..that tell me I should install the heater before I install other accessories. Yeah….Riiiight. Duh.

I should have 3 of them coming in tomorrow. Then just wait for the machines to come in to install them. That shouldn't take too long though since our highs are only in the 20's.... and then add wind chill..

What? Foggy. You haven't been waiting for that heater before you did anything? Lol

Excerpt from notes on Honda Illustraion Instructions: (bullet point 2)

* When installing the heater and the required Auxillary Wire Harness, install the Heater Kit first.

Funny….but the Aux Wire Harness never said anything about this. ;):roll eyes:There is a mounting bolt for the heater that is now directly under my installed fuse box. Hopefully no big deal.

I'm glad I have protected most of that area under the hood - where my heater is going to go. Kept most wires free from the area too. I'm learning…..slowly. ;)

Did you see the HOnda Heater instructions Moose?

Nope, I haven't given them a look yet. I've been busy writing up my install instructions for the Warn winch and the summit heater I just buttoned up.

Was kinda hoping someone would install and do some pics before I do mine. :D Always willing to learn from somebody else…..or not be the giennea pig.:roll eyes:

I don't get back to my machine till next week. I'll post a few installation issues if I have any. I always seem to have "issues"…..lol.

Well without issues, there would be a lot less to talk about around here.

I'll get a copy of the heater install instructions and read up on it. I'm guessing other than mounting and vent placement, its probably similar to the summit

Heater install took me about 5 hours including time to run for more anti-freeze. Some of the instructions are a bit backwards…..but I muddled through. Except for typical tight quarters on UTV's the install is pretty straight forward. Hard to get at stuff.

Biggest problem is…..the heater doesn't put out much heat. All for today. Maybe I'll figure out more tomorrow. Disappointed in the heater performance…..especially after a long wait.

Honda aint winning many points with me on their accessories.
