Just wondering if anyone knew what winch Honda OEM winch was? I was at the dealer and saw the box from 10ft away but didnnt take the time to look. I believe that it is a Warn XT40.

I already baught it for 800$ installed but would like to know.

The XT 40 warn has a wireless remote. I think the Honda one has a corded remote, that would probably be the RT40

The winch that Honda is using is a Vantage??? Id atleast thought they would have used the RT40

The winch from Honda is not the Vantage. It has a cord for the remote and a red handle on the clutch. It looks similar to the RT40

I just looked at the price on the honda winch mount.. Wow $270 for a mount is kinda pricy..

Yeah.... I got the KFI for $55 including shipping.

May have to go with KFI.. I talked to the guys at EMP they told me that the pioneer was next on the list.. So hopefully they do a Bumper Winch combo..

I went all KFI................winch, bracket, whole nine yards. Very happy with how it turned out.

The Honda winch mount is quite a bit different from the Kfi mount and the Honda mount kit comes with the cables and connectors to hook up the winch bottomline about 700 for Honda/warn set up.
