It's time for me to get my first UTV. I'd like to know how you transport your Pioneer 2 seat. Can you use an 8' pickup bed for short trips? Do you have to get a trailer?

I have a 1-ton dually with 8' bed and a fifthwheel toyhauler with a 12' garage. If I'm just going for a day ride I'd like to use the pickup. The toyhualer is 40' and a little impractical for going some place close for a ride.

I seen a picture awhile back where someone had one in the back of an older chev pickup, I don't believe he had the tailgate up.

I had to take the sides off my trailer to haul mine, the tires overhung a little but never moved with some blocks screwed inside of the tires.

Find a cheap utility type trailer, I've got one that it barley fits on and when I'm setting deer stands I can take it off the truck and put it behind my utv, something lite, cheap, and that you wouldn't be afraid to drag through the brush, the height of loading on to a truck + weight + limited visibility= a bad time

The rear wheels isn't even on the tailgate. I have about 2-3in of room. I just take off the tailgate when tow the toyhauler.

I use a 5.5 x 10 and it fits nicely.

I recommend that you NOT get a cheap trailer. I had a cheap 5x8 for my quad, and it slowly fell apart and was always flimsy. Even if it would have fit, i would never have trusted it to haul my SxS.

My 5.5 x 10 is clearly much sturdier than the old one. Buy once, cry once.

I have a steel 6 X 12. I did this so I could tow it or tow with it. Wire mesh floor and gate helps keep down the weight.

When in the truck shown, do you have to drive the SxS over the wheel wells? I would have to in my Dodge.
