I didn't go with a traditional dome light. This worked out really well. I bought a strip of self adhesive LEDs. I stuck it to the top of my roll cage bar under my roof. Then zip tied it down for added security. The back lit effect from behind the bar keeps the glare down and makes it easy to see out still, despite the amount of light thrown off by all those LEDs . The strip of lights and the Daystar switch were right at $20 total.

Yes sir. Sometimes $9 items just don't work out.

I just ordered 4 pack of the 10 inch think ill put them like you did but on the the 4 side roll bars
Sure. That should work great for a cargo light when your hauling stuff too. Mines bright enough to light up the bed a little, but you couldn't make out detail towards the tailgate.

Those are the white according to my invoice. My wire follows the passenger side A pillar from the top of the roll cage down through the hole in the quarter panel that the cage comes out of. Same place that my front aux light wire drops into. I'd take a pic, but I already have it tucked in behind my windshield.

Looking good. I went all the way around so I get a little load light and if the kids are back there it isn't so dark.

I kinda did the same thing just the front bar.

I will try to get one at night to let you see.
How is that sticking ( I know it's a tape on one side) does it stick good. moose used zip ties in combination with tape. I wonder if it will hold up lone with just the tape.

I will sure let ya know. I hope it will hold but if it doesn't I will throw some Zip ties around it. May do that anyway that way I don't take a chance.
+1 I zip tied as I went, just seemed like a good security feature. Don't want an anaconda of LEDs jumping down in your lap.
