some of you were asking for pics of it installed.
well here it is. This is basically the only spot i could mount it in this area. i could have mounted it in the cubby area where the factory add on switches would go, but i didn't like that idea.

so i removed the warning label thats in the center, cut up the plastic a bit, and made my own metal panel, coated it with truck bed liner, and bolted in place.

the far right side is the only place in that area that the unit will mount, behind that panel is some medal tubing and bracing, so only choice was far right.

that is ok though, because when i get my winch and aux lighting ill be putting switches on the the other side and it will fill the panel out just nice.

i have a AUX and USB input mounted in the glove box, great spot for it.

the antenna i got with it doesn't seem to work real well, so doubt ill be using it.
i don't know how the antenna plug is on the back of the radio but advancedauto sells a power antenna that you can mount under the dash it picks up better than my 2012 chevy radio

its a flat antenna with what i call wings if your interested i have one ill take a pic of
