I have a Suzuki Eiger, currently, and I'm going to purchase a 700-4 in the next few months.

My question is, the mount I have for the plow is attached to the underside of the Eiger. I just drive up over the plow - attach a couple pins and attach the front to the winch....and go.

I'm wondering if the mount that's attached to my Eiger will fit underneath the Pioneer? I know it's kind of a specific question....but, I don't know who else to ask? The main reason I want to know is, if it won't fit the Pioneer, I need to know if there is a Moose mount kit that will. Otherwise, I'll need to sell the plow with the Eiger.

Thanks.

Your going to want to sell the plow. I'm assuming your not running a 72" plow on that Eiger. Anything smaller than that doesn't really work on the width of the Pioneers stance.

You probably have a 50-55 inch plow, possibly a 60. None of them will be wide enough for a SXS. Moose also uses longer push tubes for the SXS if I remember correctly. I have not seen any products for the pioneer from moose yet (besides wheels).

Plow

I'm assuming you may have a cycle country plow based on how you said the plow attaches, if so this may work.

Plow Mounts > All Mount (Universal) Kit - Cycle Country Access Corp

but since the width of your plow is probably fairly short you would have to modify the blade so it would be wider. I would think the minimum width you would want would be about 65 inches and that is at the very least. You would probably be better off getting a new plow.

Plow Blades > 72" Straight Steel Plow Blade - Cycle Country Access Corp

This plow may work with the universal mounting kit and your push tubes may possibly be correct or could work with little modification so you might be able to save some money not having to buy those.

Can anyone tell me what a new complete system would run for the Pioneer (utilizing the winch as the actuator)?

I'm also interested in your opinion on what I should add to the price of the ATV I have to sell the plow with it. Or, would you take it off and sell it, separately?

Thanks.

Bottom of the line, not including winch. $500-600. Top of the line $900 no winch. You could pay more or less either way. Depending on shipping and such to your area and where you buy from.

You said you live someplace where you use your plow a few times a year. Does that mean there isn't much demand for plows? If so, you might want to package the deal. You might want to watch the classifieds and see what others are doing.

Moose plow

he has a moose plow ..... not to be confused with this forums moose .....lol
I should have read what he said closer, my fault.
But moose does also make a universal mount that would probably hook up to your push tubes.

The price of a new moose system would be about $130 for mount and a new push tube would be about $250 (ATV/UTV PLOW PUSH TUBE | Products | Moose Utility Division) your push tube may work also.

A new straight blade would be about $330 (STRAIGHT BLADES | Products | Moose Utility Division)

A new county blade would be about $340 (COUNTY BLADES | Products | Moose Utility Division)

A winch to lift it would vary in price. But this is the one i have on my Honda and i really like it. http://www.warn.com/atv/winches/Vantage_4000.shtml
