I found these in the walmart automotive section. I think they were about $14 for a pair and they're 14" long. They are water proof and have a adhesive backing for mounting. I think they are designed to mount on the exterior of a vehicle and wired in to the parking lights. They are directional and can be cut to fit. I have two sets, one set up front and a set in the rear and I wired them in to a toggle switch on the dash. The toggle is powered from a 6/fuse fuse panel I installed under the hood. Unless you look directly in to them they are easy on your night vision.I've seen this type of strip led lighting with 12 v cig type plug for aux power. Is this the type pictured? How did you run the wires. Did you install these on both sides? Looks like you have a p4 with a strip front and rear, correct?
Bright enough I don't drive with them on. lollooking good. they look bright!
