I've seen this type of strip led lighting with 12 v cig type plug for aux power. Is this the type pictured? How did you run the wires. Did you install these on both sides? Looks like you have a p4 with a strip front and rear, correct?

I found these in the walmart automotive section. I think they were about $14 for a pair and they're 14" long. They are water proof and have a adhesive backing for mounting. I think they are designed to mount on the exterior of a vehicle and wired in to the parking lights. They are directional and can be cut to fit. I have two sets, one set up front and a set in the rear and I wired them in to a toggle switch on the dash. The toggle is powered from a 6/fuse fuse panel I installed under the hood. Unless you look directly in to them they are easy on your night vision.

They look good. I've been out in the pitch black driving. They are needed, cause I could not even see my shifters.
I picked up some LEDs on Amazon, part of my ever mounting to do list. :)

Yep hoops, same ones I was referring to. Looking nice may also go that route. Just waiting to get past holidays before proceeding with want list. Snow plow will be here this week YEA! But I need something to stop the rain. We have had rain 4 straight weekends and I'm feeling a bit wet and blue. I guess I could be glad it's not snow, but I'm looking forward to my virgin snow ride gonna be fun.
