Hello, I just ordered a red 2P. It should arrive in the first week of Feb:D

Gotta get working on the best snow plow/winch setup. (I can't wait til my neighbor with the loud Sportsman sees me plowing in style;))
My first sxs. Thanks to all of you who contribute to this growing community. It made my decision way easier.

Anybody have the soft top setup with rear windows and doors yet? $700 bucks seem resonable?

Welcome to the forum, remember to post those pics for all to see. We never get tired of seeing new rides. What kind of accessories you looking at possibly getting?

THANKS for the WELCOMEs!
I guess the 0rder goes like this

I will probably attempt a home made front window to start with. If the softtop/soft doors look durable, I'll probably buy them. Not sure what to do if all I can see is a pic on the web thou. I suspect my dad would get a kick out of trying to make a plywood topper for it as he has made many contraptions over the years. It would be a "one of kind" if I go that route.

I like the idea of the receiver hitch in front of the rig. I might try using the winch to lift my dumptrailer as i backup and do a lazy man's spreader. I have some large piles of dirt/sand I'd like to dump into some deep ruts leftover from recent logging. Anyone attempted a remote controlled dump box yet? Once I have it dumped, I was even thinking about using the snow plow backward as a way to smooth over the dumped rows of sand. I suppose the down side is the width of the snow blade will give me fits in the woods. I might have to come up with a blade no wider than 60"
Otherwise I'll probably do some bluetooth speakers so i can ehjoy my radio programs while moving my sand pile. Already planning a spring trip southwest to test it in desert like conditions.

Carhart61, maybe some here could give you the low down on the soft doors, I don't know about them and don't see me getting them.
The 2" receiver on the front plow mount is up in the air as no one is mfg yet. But I am very interested in one if someone makes it for the Pioneer.
I suppose you could use plow to grade ruts, you might consider a minimum of 64" plow as the pioneer is 60" wide and you would want the plow just a bit wider. I have the 72" plow and may use mine to level ruts. I used my 56 Farmall Cub tractor with discs to go over my trail which works ok but the plow would finish grade for me.
I saw a 2" receiver online that looks to mount to a square frame tube, but there is no place in the front of the pioneer to mount, unless I can use unbolt s and mount to bumper tube.

Duwop I had just enough room for my 2" receiver above my winch. I used u-bolts and it seems to work pretty well.

I got that receiver at northern tool. I had to add a piece or angle iron behind it so the receiver wouldn't spin on the bumper tube even with the u bolts tight.

I hope this helps.

I wonder where you work? I kid.

where are you from in MN? Rochester area here
I live just north of St. Paul and have land between Hinckley and Danbury Wi.
I just drove thru Rochester about 2 hours ago, not a very nice day for being outside:eek:.
If you are inclined to do any of trails north of the gandy dancer, let me know. I'm up in that area fairly often.
The sxs concept is brand new to me, I'm more of a dirt bike person who's body can't take any more biffs.:(

I guess its showtime! Dealer says they are putting it together now. I just decided to retire my old trailer (which is frozen in a snow bank) and get either a aluminum one or a galvinized one. Pics tomorrow!

I have the soft top and rear window setup with soft doors and an Eagle plow setup. I am very happy with all of them. The height issue was very critical for me so I went with the soft top and rear window and then removed 1 1/2" from the 2 top fiberglass support rods which made the top line of the roof not only lower but also greatly improved the looks. It is stored indoors so snow or rain are not an issue.

The doors really help to keep the wind off of you on those cold and windy days like we have been experiencing here in Pa.

Hope this helps.
