Good idea! Seems I've seen some at the local auto parts that weren't to pricey. Would be a good idea on my sxs, I've nearly backed it to several trees and I have mirrors! lol

Here is my idea for all SXS. I have looked into making a kit for a heated steering wheel. I was thinking of a wrap that could be put on any steering wheel or even a steering wheel with it built right in that could be bolted on. I think the person or company who ends up producing one would do very well selling them. ATVs have a bunch companies who offer heated grips and thumb warmers but I have not found a heated steering wheel kit yet. For us in the northern climates it would be a great option.

I have looked soapy and have found some for golf carts but since I'm not a golfer I have no idea how big of the steering wheels they have (sites don't give dimensions either). I did order a cheap one off of ebay for a vehicle (14-15 inch steering wheel) and it was just too big for the SxS. It could work but not like you would want. I'm still looking though since I think many would like them.

Olt - My pioneer has a glass windshield and a full lenght hard top, so I was thinking mounting the monitor with a suction cup mount like on a car gps on the windshield. Then mounting the camera (possibly wirerless infared) on the back of the hardtop.

hoops - I like the insulated top idea. I've been using my 10lb propane tank with my 10,000 - 15,000 btu mr heater attatched to the tank strapped in the box, sure takes the nip out plowing snow. I've got the canvas doors and back flap with glass windshield & hardtop. Not too air tight to worry about lack of oxygen.

Here is a idea for a back up camera. Go to a junk yard and buy a late model GM rear view mirror that has the small built in backup monitor that turns on when the vehicle is put in reverse. Buy the mirror and the backup camera and use it on the pioneer with a toggle switch to turn the camera on when needed.
