got a new honda pioneer last week and love it. its way better than i could imagine! its been reall cold here in ohio so instead of paying the big money for a honda windshield i made my own. its made from 1/4" lexon and i used 1 1/2" p clamps to secure it. i used a piece of angle steel across top to stiffen it up and now its rock solid. gotta put some finishing touches on it but took it for test run earlier and its awesome! i'll try to get some better pics of the windshield tomarrow and post them.

i got the p clamps from a local commercial truck supply, they only had 4 of them in stock. i found them on the fastenal website and ordered more. the part # on the fastenal sight is 0447099 they seem to be the same as the ones i purchased local but wont know for sure untill they arrive. the ones i purchased local are made by noble wire and terminal and there hard to find even online. the guy at the local shop said he would order more but would be a couple weeks so thats why i deceided to order more on my own.

Do they clamp well I'm planning on using the same clamps to mount a radio to my roll bar under my hardtop Do you think 2 would hold the radio/CD player

I made my home made windshield last September and used optical grade acrylic. It only cost me about $40 and is more scratch resistant than lexan. I used the same clips to attach it but I cut mine a little wider than yours and used some weather strips along the front of the roll bar to cushion the windshield. It has been hoding up great.
