Paint themes

Once some of you guys see this, and realize how easy it was to do, I am sure you will come up with some very creative paint themes.

Today, while looking in my paint locker, I ran across a half full can of Red Krylon Fusion spray paint (Krylon #2328 Red Pepper/Safety Red). Since it said it bonds to plastic I thought I would try it on my Pioneer, and as you can see, it worked great.

Therefore, since a can of Krylon only costs about $4, and it comes in many colors, I'm sure some of you guys can create some interesting color combinations (maybe red-white & blue, or ?).

As you know the plastic surface on our Pioneers is rough, so it took a few coats to cover it well. However, and I didn't think of it until I was done, maybe if it was sanded smoother first it might have been easier to cover. I don't know, just a thought.

Thanks. I know it went on easy but I obviously wasn't able to say how long it would last. You just provided proof of the durability part.

Now since the paint will work and any panel, not just the outlined panels, we will have to wait and see what interesting things people come up with.
