I know it is really new still, but has anyone seen full blown shop manuals for the Pioneers available anywhere yet?
Do you happen to have a ballpark on the costs of those? You can order a factory service manual (book) from your dealer. They should be popping up on ebay and other places also in paperback and PDF. I prefer the paperback manuals and the Honda factory ones are top notch.
Under the MUV section.Price: $49.95 In StockPkg Qty: 1(English, Paper, 61HL300)
With a lot of things it's like this, cars, bikes, just about anything. Always good to be a bit of a DIY'er, save yourself some money and get to know more about what you're passionate about.Yep, eventually a pdf will come along... the free kind and buying. I prefer using the "book" yet and if you plan on keeping your machine a long time it's worth the investment. Heck, just doing one repair like changing an axle boot pays for itself vs paying the dealer (labor time).
Get yourself a volt/ohm meter and a sharp probe (ice pick will do). Find the harness coming out of the dash to the instrument panel and probe to find your key on 12 volt line. Word of caution, connect your feed with solder don,t use those quick connects. They cause a lot of headaches down the road.Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a pioneer online? I am looking for places under the hood to tie into for my rocker switch panel. I don't really want to run another wire to the battery and need it for my radio and a couple extra LED lights.
