How do you guys come up with a sale price for ATV's (and such) you intend to sell?

I thought I had mine sold, but I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about the deal. I think I'm going to have to list it.

My "guess" is........$0.50 on the dollar for accessories added. I'd like to find a guide for the price of the bike, though.

I can provide as much info. as is required, at your request (gladly!).

Thanks.

Nada or Kelly Blue Book will give you a general idea. Also compare it to some prices on Craiglist or other classified, each region of the country has different demands. Accessories are a hard one, 1/2 price is a good idea but if the buyer doesn't care about the accessories then it's hard to say.

Thanks guys.

Honestly, when you look at it on paper, it hurts your feelings! If I thought I'd use it, still (after the Pioneer arrives), I'd just keep it. I have the storage room.

Do any of you guys use your ATV's, now that you have the SXS? Talk me into keeping it! As little as I have to plow, it would save me $650 right off the bat (not buying a new plow). I guess I could try to sell all the accessories and just keep the unit (and plow). I'm just afraid it would sit in the building and never be used. Someone needs to enjoy it.

I still plow with my king quad. I also still drive it if the wife and kids are out in the Pioneer. Plus if you want to go out and have some uncaged fun, that's a great reason to keep it

You can always sell it if the need arises. Until then, the one with the most toys wins.

It's going to need a new set of tires, also. I hate spending $500 on something I'm not going to use much.....and I can't go "bigger" on the Pioneer tires and still fit it in my bldg.

If my 21yo was 30, I'd just give it to him. He'd have this demolished in 6 mos.

I am interested to know if there's an upgrade set of tires for the Pioneer....without going taller? And, will the stock Pioneer tires work on the Suzuki Eiger I have? I guess something good could come from this!

I'm pretty sure the Eiger has 25x8x12 and 25x10x12 tires, same size as the stock Pioneer tires. There are many upgrades on tires depending on what kind you want. I'm testing out a set of HTR's right now on my Rancher, 8ply radials.

Honestly, I don't do ANY trail riding. I'd want (if I switched out the stock tires) something like what's on them (stock) -- only a thicker wall (I assume more plys). I am NOT a tire guy. My ATV's tires are the ones that came on it over 8yrs ago. Most of the riding I do is either on pavement or a dirt road.

A suggestion on the same sized upgrade for the pioneer would be appreciated. Also, what's the going rate to have someone mount ATV/UTV tires on my rims.....if I take them the rims? I've never gone through this.

Thanks.

Duro Frontier, AMS Radial Pro and ITP UltraCross are a few that come to mind for mostly road driving but will still function off road. A little more aggressive would be ones like bighorns or Kenda HTR and many more.

I had a guy almost begging me to sell my ATV but I figured I would hang on to it for our kids to use when they are able to join us on rides. They are both grown and have been on their own for years, but like to hang out with Dad in the bush when they have time.
