I was wondering how most people are using their pioneers. I think a poll would be nice to see how these pioneers are actually being used. For me I am probably 85% recreation and only 15% utility.

I think hunting is recreation but like setting up stands or working on plots would be work

Going out hunting is recreation. When you kill something, it becomes work...lol

I don't mine yet (April), but I can assure you it will be 100% recreation, and that includes firewood gathering as that is considered recreation in my book.

I am going to start a post so we do not take over this one. I will put it in the picture forum.

I look at my use as about 70% utility and 30% rec. However utility includes hauling my fishing gear and hunting gear and working on my deer property. These are forms of recreation…..but it is more utility in nature. I view recreation as joy riding / trail riding.
