do they seem pretty durable for what they are, i mean i know they are only plastic
With snow and ice built up outside my garage door, that roof hits every time I pull in without a load in back. It's pretty tough material.

I've also caught some good sized branches now and again

No question that the factory roof adds height and in some cases that could be an issue. However it has taken a few knocks in the woods and seems to be pretty tough.

I originally purchased my 2P with a hardtop. Would not fit in my barn, too high. I was impressed with the hardtop, I wish I could have kept it. I felt the Bimini top from the dealer was too costly and did not work well with the glass windshield.

I went to canvas shop recently and they quoted me a basic top for about $50. This will work for me. I just want something to keep snow and rain off my head while driving.

Could someone please get me the height of a P2 with the factory hard roof and stock tires?

Thanks.

Also, if you have a Honda windshield, did you have to cut it to utilize the Honda hard roof? Don't ask me why I'm asking.......Grrrr.

I'm not sure how this can be, Moose (82").

I'm going to go take a photo of how much room I have with NO roof and 83" - clear.

**Edit....I am mistaken. I have more room than I thought.

Next question(s)....

1. Will the fabric doors work with the hard top?
2. Do I have to cut my new Honda windshield, if I use the hard top?

Do you have any pictures of the top they made for you?
