Does anyone know if the last part of the numbering on the serial numbers is sequential to the manufacturing? If so I have one of the first 90 machines made. Not sure if thats good or bad though.

Thanks, I was more curious than anything, I thought I seen somewhere that they produce 65 machines a day. i believe they started production back around June so there should be about 6,500 machines out there now. None of the dealers around here ever got anymore than the first ones, they are still as rare as hens teeth.

I wonder where the rest of the machines are, I doubt there are tens of thousands of them sitting in a lot or warehouse somewhere. Maybe production started late?

If the numbers are sequential like you say then my serial number ending 00015 means.......?
Unless there is a different serial number system for Canada but I doubt it since they are all made in the US.

It could be yours was 25% made on the first day of production.
It appears that they sent out the first ones to certain dealers probaly with the intent to be demos in order to get interest, not all dealers up here received any on the first shipment. Its funny if you tell someone they can't have one they want it even more.
I would say the Honda Pioneer is going to be a big success! With high resale value?

Serial Number info

Good post, this is something of interest. I will check mine today out of curiosity and post. My local dealer has had some 4 seaters that are sold before he gets them in. One guy is letting him keep his green 4 seater on the show room for display for a short time until he can pick it up. I was lucky enough to get his first and only red two seater so far. 5 other dealers in a 100 mile range have not seen any at all yet. My dealer say's Honda was not prepared for the overseas demand and are shipping them all over the world as well as in the U.S. which is causing huge delays here.

Camo Pioneer4 000139.

I wonder how the serial numbers relate between the P2, P4 and the color of models.
Interesting, mine is E4000748 and I think the 4 might possibly mean the 4 seat model? Anyone with a 2 seater model, can you post your last 6 digits please?

Good thought on the "4" for the four seat but my 2-seat is E4000015.

That would of made sense to me. I wonder how production is run. Do they make a 4 for every 2 they make.

Looks like the guys who bought them in November are still under #2000, maybe they have not made as many as we thought.

Could someone who has a new Pioneer that just came in please take a look at the last few numbers of their serial number so we can get an indication of how many have been made so far.

David has the distinction of having the oldest machine here at number 000015.
